My Project

Students in my classroom are voracious readers. I want them to feel excitement when they come to our classroom library and have places to stow books to keep feeding that love of reading!

The library supplies in our classroom need a little love.

The bags students keep the books at their desks in have been well loved by students for the past 10 years. They've really held up well, but each year more and more of them are broken. I'm hoping to replace some of the broken bags so that students have a good place to keep their books! The bins in our library are also starting to show their age. Each year I have to toss out a few that have cracks in them so no one gets hurt! Even though the bins are breaking, it gives me a great opportunity to enhance the organization of our classroom library to be more understandable to students. Having a little extra variety in the color of the bins will really help students to get books back in the correct spot!

I'm so pleased that these bags and bins have held up so long, but now is the time to start making sure I have quality replacements!
