Boomwhackers for Our Music Room!

Help me give my students the gift of music! Each student will have a boomwhacker to hold and play. They will learn to read music and play in a group.

My Project

I'm so excited to start a music program at my school. I will be teaching K-6 and boomwhackers are fun for any age. The students will benefit from holding, playing. and listening to their own boomwhacker! They are simple to hold and play and the kids will learn to read music, follow a beat, and play as a group. The kids will alternate between the 8 different boomwhackers each lesson which will increase their listening and note reading skills. Boomwhackers are a must for any elementary music classroom. I have included a sheet music book of popular songs that the kids will enjoy.
