Help me give my students Boomwhackers, which are colorful percussion tubes. Long ones make low pitches, and short ones make high pitches, something like organ pipes.

My Students
I teach 800 students at my elementary school, for music class. I love the kids' enthusiasm for music creation I get to witness when I am able to put tools in their hands, and ideas in their heads, which enable them to create music. I love to see the "a-ha" moments, when kids realize, "I can actually do this."
Our student population is a diverse mix of children from an urban environment, with approximately 50% of my classes being represented by different minorities.
Among them, a number of refugees from Burma and other countries are present.
The classes I teach also often include special education students that qualify for special education assistance.
Within our student population, 70% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
My Project
I am seeking funding for Boomwhackers for our music classroom. I already have some, but they have had heavy use in the last few years, and are showing signs of wear. It is time for them to be replaced.
Boomwhackers are colorful plastic tubes, anywhere from a foot long to three feet long.
There are eight colors, one for every note of a major scale. They enable kids to use their large muscle groups to produce sounds of various pitches. They can be played like handbells, but at a much lower cost, and in a much more kid-friendly format. Kids love to play them and must work together to make sure the right tubes are being played at the right time so that the song can be recognized.
They also allow me, the music teacher, to teach a little bit of science in music class, by asking the kids why some tubes are longer than others, and how the sound differs from the short tubes to the long tubes.
