My Project

My 4-6th grade students play Boomwhackers as elementary students. Then when they move on to middle school and go to a different building, they don't get to play them any more. I have a small classroom set at the elementary building, but it can be a lot of extra work and planning to bring them over for the 'big kids' to play. I also have bigger class sizes at the middle school, so using two sets just isn't enough to keep everybody involved.

These students love to play Boomwhackers and often ask me why we don't use them!

Boomwhackers teach us about reading music, making chords, and how pitches work. We would love to have some at the middle school to expand upon what they learned as elementary students!
