it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This summer my middle school students will be involved in a STEAM project based learning program where I will combine principles of science, math, engineering, and music to create fun cross-curricular lessons. Integral to these lessons are supplies to build boomwhackers and rainsticks! Students will build their instruments based on the science of acoustics, and then we will learn foundations of music to perform.
This school year has been a struggle for all of us, and this summer I want a place for my students to have fun and stay academically engaged.
