This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The future of the world is inside my first grade classroom! My students are smart, respectful, persistent, inventive, curious, and kind. They are a group of boys and girls from Miami, Florida who are eager to learn about the world around them.

My Project
Using data binders supports students in taking ownership of their own learning and progress. They help students develop independence and responsibility; all ultimate goals of education.
These binders will allow me to keep a running record of each students' progress, growth, and areas in which they may need intervention.
Each student will receive a binder that will stay in class and store their assessments, quarterly grades, and other important data that may be used with an interventionist, a therapist, and, most importantly, a parent/guardian.
