My Students

My class consists of 32 beautiful children who strive to be the best even though they are faced with the world. I work in Brighton Beach, New York. It is located right next to Coney Island in Brooklyn New York. People across the United States envy my students because of their "gorgeous" living environment. However many of my students come from low-income homes. Their first homes are actually my classroom and my school. I strive to set the bar high for they expect a home to be. A home should be inviting, safe, and a place you want to be. In order for my students to be brilliant it is my job first to create a loving and learning environment in which they want to enter every day!

My Project

With remote learning in the past we will be utilizing our classroom library all day and everyday. For this reason, we need vibrant and neat storage. Our bins are dull and some are even cracked. We have a great set of library books. However, we need to learn how to properly store them.

The classroom library is the heart of our classroom and we need some serious revamping to make it more user friendly and inviting!

Instead of throwing books on a shelf or in old bins it would be great if we had heavy-duty bins!
