My students have a variety of disabilities in which they actually cannot sit in one place all day. Imagine going through your day and being forced to sit in the same uncomfortable cold metal chair ALL day long. Unfortunately, my students do not yet have the chance to utilize flexible seating to provide comfort and stimulation to their minds and their bodies. If my students are in a classroom all day in which they are provided comfort and choice they will develop more as learners and thus be more successful in any task given to them. If I provide my students with wobble chairs and floor seats they will be able to engage in the learning! We need a place to sit to love learning even more! Better yet, my students need a place where they will fall in love with learning. It does not make a difference where you are. As long as I support my students and provide them with a comfortable learning environment!
