My Project

This upcoming school year will be my 7th year teaching and it's time for a bit of a classroom refresh! When I moved into my current classroom four years ago, I had no bookshelves. Colleagues helped me scrounge for shelves but now those are falling apart. I'm hoping to give my students a proper library area without fear that the shelves will crumble.

Having proper bookshelves to display all the wonderful books in my room will entice students to borrow more and discover new genres and ideas!

I want students to enjoy reading and having nice shelves will emphasize the importance of books and the power of words.

Additionally, having a space where I can properly store headphones will help keep my equipment organized and safe. Having more storage in general will allow all of my materials to last longer!
