My Project

My students love to read! Having an organized library will help them find books to read for enjoyment and information.

First grade is a big year for learning how to read.

Having a fiction and nonfiction library in our classroom will help my students enjoy reading stories with partners, individually and bring home and share with their families. Giving the gift of reading will help my students grow academically and socially.

The bookshelves will be the perfect size for my first graders to find books that are just right for them. I cannot wait to watch my students pick out books and enjoy reading them on the rug with their classmates.
