Bookshelf for Classroom Library

My Students

I have the BEST students in the world, or at least that is what I like to think! My students are very hard working and love to read. Each and every day they beg for more time to read to self or for me to read aloud in our class book for just a little longer. Each student is on their own individual level and loves to find what books work for them.

Each day we work more and more to become better citizens of our classroom by practicing manners, being proactive, and working together.

Like a team, we are trying hard each day to make progress and reach our goals.

My Project

My students love to read. Through some donations and by purchasing many books, I've been able to get my classroom library to grow to an amazing selection of books. The only problem is, there isn't enough room on my school provided bookshelf!

Our school is at capacity and there are no more bookshelves that will fit in my classroom.

Recently, we've been stacking some of the books on top of our bookshelf when there isn't enough room. By getting a new bookshelf, my students will be better able to find a good book to read and I will be able to get more books to help support their literacy growth goals.
