My Students

My students come from many different cultural and economic backgrounds. They speak various languages and they have kind hearts. They make us proud every day. We are a Title I school with fantastic students who are eager to learn!

All my students want is to learn and have people believe in them.

They want to do well and want to make their families proud. I have faith in them, and so can you. They just need teachers, supplies in the classroom and an environment that can help them get there.

My Project

With the addition of Dog Man, Captain Underpants, Stink, and many more; my students will have a new opportunity to get excited about reading! They were so excited to hear that we were going to try and add new words to our lessons and that if you follow the rules, you will be able to check out books on an "as needed basis".

Can you imagine having any book at your fingertips?

This project is going to allow the students to explore new storylines, develop new favorite characters, and have all those books right at their fingertips. They will be able to check them out of our own personal library and really develop their grade-level reading skills.

This will really help the students become lifelong readers.
