My Project

The best part of teaching second grade is the students. At this age, students are naturally curious and willing to take a risk with their learning. They are learning how to get along with their classmates and still love pleasing their teacher.

My classroom aims to meet the needs of all my students; we use flexible seating options, individual learning opportunities, and various opportunities to demonstrate learning.

One of the best ways to grow readers is to provide them with books they are interested in. My students have asked for these book titles because they find them fun and engaging! They are books they will finish and then reach for again and again.
