Books to Update Our Library (Fairy Tales)

Help me give my students books about classic fairy tales, fractured fairy tales, and culturally responsive fairy tales.

My Project

My class will be learning about classic fairy tales and writing new stories to go along with the fairy tales.

I would love to have them look at fractured fairy tales and culturally responsive fairy tales as examples to create their own stories, but we need an update to our classroom library!

After they write their stories, they will write a play using the characters in their stories and design a miniature set and puppet characters to record their new story. I believe this experience will be fun and engaging for the students and we won't be able to do it without these books!
