My Project
Bringing more engaging novels into our classroom library will spark a love for reading and help my 4th graders grow into confident, skilled readers. Many of my students are eager to read but lack access to books that truly capture their interests and imaginations.
By offering a wider variety of high-interest novels—ranging in genres, reading levels, and diverse characters—I'll be able to match each reader with stories that motivate them to read more often and more deeply.
This daily reading practice builds vocabulary, strengthens comprehension, and boosts fluency, all while helping students develop a lifelong love of books. More than just reading skills, these stories will empower students to think critically, empathize with others, and see themselves reflected in the pages.
