Books to Make Us Battle Ready

Help me give my students three copies of each of the titles on the 2022-2023 Battle of the Books list that we do not currently have in our collection.

My Project

Battle of the Books is a reading competition program for students in 4th and 5th grades. My students will read books from now until next February. Then, they will come together in a small team to demonstrate their knowledge of each of the fifteen titles that they have read through competition.

The purpose of Battle of the Books is to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.

The NRES BOB team works hard to read the books for battle and then represent us well when we compete.

There are 15 books on the 2022-2023 book list and I am asking for three copies of the books that we do not currently have in our collection. My students get excited about Battle of the Books, and I want to have plenty of books in our collection for them to read.

Students will gain knowledge and enjoyment from reading these great books, sharing them with friends, and enjoying the "battle" with other groups.
