My Project

My Project

We have so many great social-emotional lessons to help our students learn and grow.

But some of our students need different ways of learning that traditional lessons don’t provide. In order to be inclusive and give a variety of learning options, we need additional materials, including different books and clay to make worry stones. My students have had trauma in their lives and I want to create students that are engaged in learning and create skills to cope with their overwhelming feelings. Teaching positive behaviors in school and in their day-to-day living is essential.
