Books to Help Us Grow New Relationships and Mutual Respect

My students need books on kindness, making friends, making mistakes, bullying, realizing how wonderful they are, building relationships with each other, and books to help them grow and learn.

My Students

For a lot of my student's school is their safe haven where they know they are loved unconditionally and accepted. My students listen and support each other. My students face many challenges in their young lives and yet come to school willing to support and help others in need. Each and every one of them is special.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our differences.

My students have lived in poverty sometime in their short lives and I want to provide an environment where they know they matter, their opinions matter and they are loved.

My Project

I am a first-year teacher and these books will help my students and myself to build our family. These books will help to foster a sense of community in our classroom.

The books I selected will help my students to build and grow new relationships and foster old relationships previously made as we start our exciting journey as a family of learners and explorers together.

These books will help us as we face problems throughout the year to become problem solvers and accept each other for who we are.

It is important to me as an educator to help my students believe in themselves as I believe in them and provide life experiences to help them accomplish that.
