My Project

My seventh-grade students want to love reading - even those who claim to hate it.

They want to love reading.

But the reading of books can be a tough sell in this world of reality TV, internet, social media, video games, and the like.

I make sure to provide time each day for independent choice-reading; my students know that class will begin each day with time to simply sit and read.

The key, though, to helping them love reading is being able to provide them with access to great books. Please help us fill our classroom library with high interest titles.
