It's no secret that students across the country are struggling with reading. Even in upper elementary grades we are seeing students reading at much lower levels then ever before.
I want to revamp my classroom library with accessible books that are engaging and interesting, and that don't feel too "baby" for my 4th graders.
I picked out both informational and fictional books that I believe will be attention grabbers for some of my students, while still being at a attainable reading level so that they don't feel defeated and give up.
