This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to give my students a variety of books that will help build their critical thinking skills and perspective-taking skills. My goal is to get them to think outside the box and see problems from different angles, as well as come up with different solutions/perspectives.
Many of my students who are of low socio-economic status struggle to solve problems and think critically in both social and academic contexts. I want to build these skills and literacy skills at the same time. Thank you in advance for your time and attention. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
