My Project
One of my goals as a reading teacher is to instill a lifelong love of reading. I’ve found this happens most often through independent reading, where students have the freedom to choose books that match their interests and reading levels. Many of my students do not have a public library card, so they rely on our school library and my classroom collection for their reading options.
Your donation will put new and exciting books in my students’ hands. I work hard to keep my library fresh and engaging by regularly adding new titles that reflect a variety of genres, topics, and voices. I pay attention to what my students are interested in and use their input to guide my book selections. My goal is to ensure that every student can find a book that feels meaningful, exciting, and worth the read.
