My Students

My third graders are creative, inspiring, innovative, and active. I am so grateful to spend my day learning alongside them. These students are involved in so many activities inside and outside of school, both in the community and outside. Our school itself, is a low-income school, in a rural community.

My students are eager to try new things and use their passions for good, and that's why I believe it's my job to give them the education they deserve to receive.

Our class is made up of so many dreamers and inventors, and I can't wait to see where the world takes them.

My Project

These new books will help us to expand our horizons and help us to integrate content areas! New picture books will help students to expand their vocabulary and stir up a bigger passion for reading. I'm excited to introduce more picture books to our classroom library, as well as adventurous chapter books. Students will be diving into these new resources throughout the year with our ELA lessons. I hope to encourage diversity and kindness through these new books. Finally, with these new resources I hope to teach students about the world around them!
