This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year, our Pre-K and Kindergarten students explore big ideas through hands-on units like trees, clothing, balls, and maps. The books in this project support our curriculum and help bring these concepts to life in a joyful, engaging way!
This carefully selected collection includes both teacher-requested titles and high-quality picture books that connect directly to our lessons:
Fox Plays Ball for our PK3 ball unit
When Tree Became a Tree and A Tree Is a Community for tree studies
The Day It Rained Hearts and Kat Hats to support clothing and seasonal learning
A Book of Maps for You and From Here to There for Kindergarten’s map unit
These books will give our young learners rich opportunities to build vocabulary, make connections, and deepen understanding through story. Your support will help us grow a library collection that supports the curriculum and sparks curiosity.
Thank you for helping our little learners thrive through the power of books!
