My Project

Reading and literacy is an essential part of our world. Reading takes us places and teaches us so much about the world around us and even how to use our imagination. Think back to the books that you loved as a child. What made them special?

My students deserve to have books inside of our classroom library that showcases characters that look like them and have characters with disabilities.

How special was it when you read a book when you were little and found a character that looked like you? Help me give my students that same feeling!
