My Project

My students live in a Title I community and need exposure to diverse materials that show and remind them they are special, important, and valued members of the global community. And that they can become more than their socio-economic background and have limitless abilities and possibilities. I would like to give every classroom library in my school a copy of a book that is about children like them and

encourage self-love and lifelong learning.

This book was written about this community of learners and inspired by experiences just like theirs.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
