Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, energetic children who love learning about the world around them. They get excited when we explore new topics during our units of study and especially enjoy story time.

Many of my students come from multilingual homes, so books that include English–Spanish and English–Chinese help them feel seen and connected in our classroom.

These bilingual books will support language development, build vocabulary, and strengthen early literacy skills while helping students make meaningful connections to what we are learning.

By adding these books to our classroom library, my students will be able to explore our units through stories, develop a love for reading, and see their languages and cultures represented in the books we share together.
