We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.
My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher everyday.
I want to grow with them!
Our school includes over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
Although this year may look a little different whether in person, online, or a mix of both, I know we'll build our classroom community and become the family we always are.
Next year I will be teaching four sections of STEM classes and many of these books will inspire students at four different grade levels.
My Project
Books are such an important part of every classroom. Books inspire. They bring joy. Books teach and continue to excite our learning.
Books take children on adventures and to places they never imagined going.
I continue to make a list of diverse books, including STEM books, recommended by teachers I am motivated by, my digital professional learning community. This project contains a lot of those amazing books!
These books will add many books about different cultures, careers, and many important people. It will also add many books about believing in yourself and inspire new ideas in STEM.
I want my students to be exposed to a variety of books. Reading, for fun, is the most important thing a child can learn at school. I want to be sure we have many different types of books available. Thank you for your support of reading in my classroom.
Plus, next year I am moving to a new STEM position and I want to have a wide variety of books for my middle school students to read.
