My Project
As a literacy teacher, I know that my students are always going to grow most as readers when they are actively reading texts that interest and motivate them. This project is aiming to get high quality, student-centered books that will energize independent reading in my classroom this school year.
My 8th grade students in Baltimore City deserve to have access to as much engaging literature as is available, and we are committed to creating space in class, as well as supporting them at home, so that they are able to be active readers throughout the full school year and in their futures!
