Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will help my students see themselves as readers! They are accessible, grade-level-appropriate texts and contain characters and topics that reflect the students and their interests. The fiction books take students on adventures they can connect with. The non-fiction books will support them in both reading and writing as they learn about, research, and write about exciting topics like animals and community helpers. My students will hear these books read aloud, they will enjoy them on their own in their book bins, and they will share them with each other. I'm so excited to pass along to them the love of reading!
