My Students

The students that I have the privilege of teaching, are everything that is great about my school! They are eager to learn, kind, and concerned about the world around them. They wonder, ask questions, and look for ways to make the world a better place!

My students are very inquisitive learners who yearn to be challenged at all times.

They are always excited to come to art and learn about different artists and experience new and exciting materials. They look forward to coming to art each week, and I look forward to seeing each and every one of them. I teach in an urban school that is truly a gem. It is a unicorn in the city.

My Project

I would like to provide my students with quality art books from all different styles and genres to give them a glimpse of the art world that exists beyond the four walls of our classroom. I have a small library the at the students are able to explore when they finish their work early, or would like to investigate a subject on their own, and I need to provide them with books that reflect their interests. Sometimes, they beg me to take the books home over and over, and I would like to new and different books for them to explore, instead of the same book over and over.
