Help me give my students sets of books, floor cushions, and recliner stadium seats for flexible seating to enhance their learning environment and comfort during our literature time.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth graders are an incredible group of learners who inspire me every day. They come from a Title I school, where resources are often limited, but their passion for learning knows no bounds. My students are curious, resilient, and eager to explore the world through books and collaborative learning.
The specific items I'm requesting—engaging books and flexible seating—will make a profound difference in their educational journey.
The books will open doors to new worlds, sparking their imaginations and enhancing their reading skills. With diverse titles that reflect their interests and backgrounds, these books will help my students develop a lifelong love of reading.
The flexible seating will transform our classroom into a space that supports different learning styles. By offering options like floor cushions and recliner stadium seats, I can create an environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. This setup encourages collaboration, focus, and creativity, allowing my students to take charge of their learning in ways that suit them best.
My goal for this project is to create a classroom that truly meets the needs of all my students. I want to provide them with the tools to succeed, both academically and personally.
