This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to read and they are especially interested in nonfiction. The books on this list represent the topics and books most requested by students in our library.

We want our students to love reading, and having books in our library connected to student interests helps to promote reading engagement and build life long readers.

We teach students to choose books based on what they are interested in, and this list represents the topics and books that they have expressed interest in. Reading should be fun, and having the books student want to read will help with that goal!
