My Project

Our library is the heart of our school.Our students look forward to going to the library every week.

When our students are there, they often ask our librarian for books that we don't have.

Because she wants everyone to find a book that they love, our librarian has an open wish list that she is constantly adding to. Our students know that our their opinions matter, and they love adding to this list. When the books they have suggested arrive, their faces light up.

For this project, I am requesting books that appeal to all our readers. For our nonfiction readers, I am asking for space books and biographies on Taylor Swift and Joe Biden. Our younger students will enjoy the picture books like Knight Owl, Aaron Slater, Be Quiet, Bear in my Family, Fry Bread, Bilal Cooks Daal, and Biscuit series. Our 2-4 grade students will be excited to see the Whatever After, I Survived, Pigeon, Bad Kitty, Mercy Waston, Notebook of Doom, and Katie Woo series. Our older students will enjoy Dream Annie Dream, The BFG, Harry Potter, Lot Years, Lords of the Night, the Middle School series.

I am thrilled to add these books to our school library.
