Help me give my students new books for the beginning of the school year to strengthen our read alouds. We need a camera to capture all the action that is occurring during our kindergarten year!
The kids at my school come to school each and every day energized and ready to learn. We are located in the great state of Nebraska. Our school is not a Title I school, so funding for extra supplies is not in the budget. There are students with family members serving in the military, students who are English Language Learners, and many more.
The students love books and can't wait to become superhero readers but we need a storage cart so the children can organize their materials and books!
Kindergarten is an important year of school for the children.
It is the first year they are working together as a team, so every child can succeed!
My Project
We need a camera to capture all the learning and activities that happen during our kindergarten school day. We will be able to share the moments with their families so moms and dads can see what is happening every day.
We need new books to strengthen our read alouds.
The book, Bully Beans will help us become more kind to each other. Zero the Hero will show us the importance of the number zero during our math block. The Look Book will allow us to see images close up. Three Little Aliens will let us compare and contrast books of one of our favorite fairy tales, The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf.
We need batteries to help us with our independent learning activities so we can hear the sounds the letters make. The binder clips, tape, pencil pouches, easel paper, notes, and magnets will help us with our indpendence as well as our organization.
The pattern cards will help the children explore during our math block.
