Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Pre-K students at a Title I campus in Houston. Our parents are loving and supportive of their children. They want their children to have the best education we can provide them. Most of my students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

My students need exposure to everything that being in school offers to them.

This is their first time in an educational setting and they are struggling because of the COVID Pandemic.

My Project

Having books with CD's will help my students learning different skills that they need to learn to master. Most of these books on CD are books that rhyme. Students need to hear the words repeated over and over again so that they can hear the words repeated for them and they can learn the rhymes. It will also be fun for them to listen to a book on CD and have someone reading it to them. It is also sung to them as well. Children learn by singing and love to sing! It is a fun learning process for them that they enjoy and they don't even know they are learning!

It is just another way for students to have an avenue to learn and enjoy do it!
