Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Academically, reading is my top priority. Reading seeps into every other subject. Students aren't able to do math problems without first reading the problem. Students will struggle to learn science concepts if they are unable to read. Social studies is so engrained with the ability to read about what happened in the past and what is happening in our world now.

The books in this project exciting and will do nothing but encourage my students to read all the more!

Any time I can get new picture books into their hands is a great day in the classroom. I want to expose them to cultures, races, and so many fascinating topics. This project helps get them closer to a lifetime love of reading.
