My Project

Recently, my class read a Scholastic News article about a series of books by Tracy West called Dragon Masters. After finishing the article, I had a few of my boys come up and ask if the library had any of her books. They said that they were interested in checking them out. Unfortunately, we did not. It happened to be the week of the book fair and they were hoping maybe her books would be there. They were not. They did some research. They found out how many books she had written and seeing how interested they were in them, our librarian told them she’d put the first 5 in the series on her list for the 2025-2026 school year as she already submitted her budget for this year. They were disappointed, but told her it would be worth the wait! I’m doing this project in hopes of getting our own classroom set and a second complete set for the library. I have already started purchasing some of the books to have and this project would complete the set for both my classroom and the school library!
