My Project
This project includes young reader's editions of two amazing adult nonfiction titles regarding our planet, as well as a set of eighteen science comics on sundry topics.
Expanding our classroom science library with these new types of titles will help to engage all my readers, from the most reluctant or lowest literacy leveled to the most ambitious.
With many English learners in my classroom and incredible diversity in background and literacy levels among our student body en mass, these rescources will ensure equitable access for all. Moreover, we want students to learn to LOVE to read widely and wildly. I hope my science classroom can complement what they read across other genres and contexts.
