My Project

I am a January hire! My new students are lovely, but the classroom is NOT. The classroom library is nonexistent. We have some picture books, but we need leveled books, poetry, genres, and biographies.

Having a choice of beautiful leveled books, and the opportunity to read them daily will build confidence as we are still learning to read.

We need exposure to new ideas and to practice our reading skills throughout the day. We are performing below grade level, because we need books that challenge us, and are at the right level. A new classroom library will provide this daily.

I would like to transform the look and feel of my new classroom so that these precious little friends feel like they walked onto the Magic School Bus. We have a lot of needs here, but these leveled books are the priority because they are essential to a child's learning experience.

Any donation here will be greatly cherished and utilized!
