My students come from diverse backgrounds. The community is comprised of multiple cultures, coming from around the world, amongst different circumstances and standards of living. That same diversity exists in my classroom.
My students are eager to learn, they are kind, and respectful.
They anxiously engage in new concepts, and share their enlightenment with others.
My Project
Have you ever spent time looking for a good book? It's pretty hard to find a book when it's tucked away in a bookshelf or hidden in a basketful of books!
In our class, I have made reading one of our top priorities; it is a fundamental skill for future success.
A book display stand for our books will reveal visually appealing covers and titles and promote interest in new and exciting genres. This will help engage students in making different book selections and foster a personal love of reading.
I have also requested a Cat in the Hat book, scratch art paper, craft bags, a USA Map floor puzzle, and Wikki Stix.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
