Help me give my students access to more books and magazines to encourage reading. I am a seasoned teacher starting my career all over again in Hawaii. I am starting my library all over again for my students

My Project

I love inspiring my students to fall in love with reading. This requires a wide variety of books and educational magazines. I found this year that my students were more excited about learning using scholastic magazines. Their face would light up and I found them taking their time looking at all the text features. A lot of the articles inspired classroom discussions and builds great background knowledge for future lessons. I find teaching in Hawaii had its unique teaching challenges. Any resources would be a great help to level the education playing field.
