Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students were so excited to give their input on books they would like to see added to our classroom library. When we talked about why they thought these books would be a good fit for our classroom, they shared their thoughts on the importance of having interesting books for students of all abilities and interests. The Babysitter's Club series gives students the opportunity to invest themselves in following relatable characters through a lengthy series of exciting adventures. Animal Rescue Pets is loved by many of my students and they thought it would give graphic novel readers something new and exciting to read. The illustrated Harry Potter books would complete our classroom set and bring in new illustration rich texts into our classroom.

Every student deserves the chance to enrich their mind with high interest books that challenges their imagination and helps them build their vocabulary!

Help my students bring these high interest books into our classroom and give incoming students more options to strengthen their mind and grow their love of the written word.
