My Project

My students are a vibrant and diverse group, full of curiosity and a deep desire to learn. Many of them are bilingual or from Spanish-speaking households, and they bring a rich cultural heritage to our classroom. I love their enthusiasm for sharing their stories and their eagerness to connect with their roots. However, our current classroom library lacks sufficient books in Spanish, making it challenging to fully engage these students and celebrate their linguistic diversity.

This project aims to bridge that gap by providing a collection of high-quality books in Spanish.

What makes my students truly special is their resilience and their willingness to embrace their cultural heritage. They are eager to learn and share their unique perspectives. By providing them with these books, we can empower them to become confident, bilingual learners and celebrate the richness of their linguistic diversity.
