Books in English and Spanish for Early Learning

Help me give my students English-Spanish board books for learning both languages in their homes during hybrid learning.

My Students

I teach Pre-K, ages 3 to 5 years. All of my students have overcome adversities or live with trauma or a special need. Most of my students live in poverty. I have many students that live with foster families or have open DCFS cases. I individually try to bond with each family and put my best foot forward to get them the intervention services they need. My students are a blessing to me because each one has a special place in my heart.

I believe these students will achieve their goals in life through education and have bright futures.

I set individual goals for each student. I focus many of my lessons on science and math. These students are very young, and it is up to me to set their educational foundations.

My Project

My class is going Hybrid because of the pandemic and is need of English-Spanish books in their homes and books that I can read during zoom in Spanish. I have students that are learning English and will use these books will help my student learn both languages.

Children learn two languages easily at the preschool age and we will read these books during zoom and class times.

I will also send some books home so my dual language learners will have access to books and will read to their children. I have had many families requesting books for both English- Spanish books for their children to learn both languages and broaden their vocabulary.
