This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every school year I anxiously await for my new batch of kiddos. Every year my little eager beavers are what keep me going every day. I look forward to seeing them daily to teach them new concepts in a fun and engaging way. Every year my classroom consists of a wide range of students with different abilities and interests. Some of the materials I am requesting are chapter books and incentives.

“Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.” -Chinese proverb.

The book collections that I am requesting are some of my student's favorite books. Using these books will allow my students to want to continue reading. Students will be given books as incentives and to promote reading in the classroom. Books will be displayed in the requested clear boxes.
