My Students
Every day, working with my students is a learning opportunity. My classroom embraces diversity with students of different abilities, so I want to create an environment where all learners can succeed in their own way.
My class is full of students wanting to learn and explore new things every day, and despite the challenges that they may face, they are always striving to do their best.
Catering to student interests and strengths are critical to help students be successful. Students should feel a sense of ownership in their learning and be motivated to want to explore and learn more.
I believe learning should be fun and interactive! I want to create an environment where my students have fun learning and continue to explore their questions and wonderings.
My Project
School has started and our students are ready to learn! There is a lot of learning to do in first grade, and we need books to help us do so. When remote learning started a year and a half ago, our former students brought home books that haven't been returned; therefore, our classroom library is missing so many great books.
We need your help to fill our library with first grade favorites!
Our students will be borrowing the books to practice the various reading strategies of decoding and comprehending the stories that they read. We can't wait to grow as readers this year. Thank you for your support!
