Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Here at our school, we exist to love and nurture scholars by leading a movement of change and education through academic excellence, character development, and preparation for success in life. This is our mission and our students are immersed in it each day.

In our classroom, we believe our students are the future.

On a daily basis, they are learning and discovering new things. Most of our students come from an economically challenged environment. A majority of them do not have access to resources outside of those provided at school. The items we provide in our classroom become tools for our students' success!

My Project

A leveled library within the classroom is the key to reading success. The availability of these books will help our students grow the confidence they need in their reading abilities. Having books that are on their personal level will keep them motivated and excited to read.

Growing reading excitement and confidence is key to our students feeling triumphant in their ability to read!

Having a larger assortment of reading materials available for our students will broaden their reading interest. This leveled library would be the most effective way to reach this goal. Please consider partnering with us in this endeavor!
