This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to give my students a reading nook they want to go to and enjoy. My current library has a broken bookshelf and feels a bit cold. I want to turn my library into a reading nook kids will want to be in!

If they are excited to be in the reading nook, they will be more excited about reading.

I can get new stackable stools to put in the reading nook. I want my students to to have a great reading experience at school. The books in this project are stories students are familiar with. They will love being able to reread them in their free time.
