This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to provide a diverse collection of books in both English and Spanish. This effort is essential for supporting literacy, expanding vocabulary, and celebrating our students' unique cultural backgrounds.

Why Reading Matters:

Supports Vocabulary Development: Building a solid vocabulary is fundamental for effective communication and learning. Bilingual books expose students to a broader, more diverse range of words and concepts.

Celebrates Diversity: Our students come from various cultural backgrounds, and having books in their home languages reflects and respects their identities. This inclusion fosters a sense of belonging and helps students connect more deeply with their reading content.
